My first review and for an item that I will wear non-stop. I had been putting off buying/wearing a jean jacket for fear I could not pull it off. Whoa! was I wrong!! This jacket is so versatile, I have worn it with jeans (of-course), full and maxi skirts, tuxedo and linen pants so far, and have only owned it for 2 weeks. The crafting of the stitching creates slimming lines which draws the eyes to a reveal a smaller waist. The leather end tabs give a distinct touch of quality, I love how soft and yet sturdy this jacket feels. Most of all, as mentioned previously, I love the inside pockets which are perfect for phone, car key and small coin purse for that quick run into the store. I did go up a size, normally a medium. 5'1" 38DD I wanted ease of buttoning when I felt like it and the ability to raise my arms easier to get items off higher shelves. Also, after some debate I did not order the petite option, the 1-inch difference wasn't enough for me to be without this jacket any-longer, I for one like longer arm length to cover my wrists and not be just at or above them. This jacket is my new favorite wardrobe staple. Love It!!!

Best Fit Ever!
I Love This Jacket! My daughter and I went to Anthro today and she grabbed this jacket on the way to the dressing room. I have been wanting a denim jacket with an updated fit and look for years, but frankly had given up. I saw her try on the XS and fell in love! I tried a S and it fit perfectly! This jacket is cut high in the back and has absolutely no extra bulk...it just fits and flares along with your natural curves every inch of the way. There is 2% Spandex, so the sleeves are not vices on your arms and it just feels perfect. There are lots of subtle details in the pockets, collar and leather tabs. Really, this is an amazing buy, as it is very flattering.
The extra small was slightly tight in the bustline for my daughter, so she is ordering the Petite S online, which she hopes will fix that issue. I have a 34D bust and the S fits just fine.

I love that this jacket is a little shorter in the back, it wears well with higher waisted items, like dresses and tunics. I was not looking for a jacket but decided to get it anyway. Love it. My go to for summer (cold office)
I bought this Kimono, but I couldn't not. It is so amazingly vibrant and beautiful. I am a shorty, so I was afraid that this drapey fit would swallow me, but it doesn't. I have worn this as an open kimono over jeans and a white tee, I have worn it belted as a tunic, and I have worn it over a simple black dress. Each and every time that I have worn it, I receive a bazillion compliments (ok, I'm exaggerating a bit), but I really do get a lot of compliments and it makes me feel pretty dang special! Thanks Anthropologie, and thanks Painted Flora Kimono!

Perfect for home!
I agree with others, this is a gorgeous piece and colours were striking. Definitely give it a go and see if it works for you! I do have a few issues with it, however:
1) The light blue border around the neck (see especially photo from the back) transports it pretty quickly to something akin to a lounge item, rather than a garment to wear out and about. I think a different colour border (navy? or maybe none at all) would have made all the difference. A friend agreed it's gorgeous but it "looks a bit like a bathrobe-type thing". I noticed this in the online photos and is a bit better in person, but still speaks "breakfast in bed" to me.
2) The material is not at all silky in feel, but more of a crepe material. Still very nice and good quality, will breathe well, I think, just not the silky feel I had anticipated. What's great about this is it stays in place and doesn't slip. It also helps counteract the boudoir effect.
3) It's vastly overpriced for a pretty piece of material with a few seams in it.
4) Looks best, by far, with a very plain cami underneath #white, navy, red# -- anything textured competes with it which limits versatility a bit.

OMG! This kimono is beautiful! It's even more beautiful in person and when you put it on!! It only comes in one size...I usually wear xs/s tops and it still fits me perfectly. it's supposed to be a flowy piece. When you put it on the fabric feels luxurious against your skin! This is a must have for your wardrobe!!!
I went to my local store to purchase the Maeve picnic days tee in the watermelon print. While I was there, I decided to look around and found this jacket. It first caught my attention because the fabric is VERY soft and the mint color is very pretty and different from what I typically wear. I don't usually like to pay full-price for things like this, but the mint color coordinated so well with the watermelon print tee that I tried them on together...and they look fabulous! I leave the tee untucked, and since the jacket is a bit cropped, the print really stands out underneath the jacket. The fit is also very good. It looked small on the hanger, so I originally tried on the medium, but it was too big, I purchased the small, which fits great (although the sleeves are much longer on me than the model in the picture). I actually have to cuff the sleeves just slightly to get them to hit at my wrist. Overall, I am thrilled with the purchase and think these two pieces make a great outfit. For reference, I am 5'5", 135-140 lbs, and 34C bust.

I have been looking for this type of blazer for a while and am glad that Anthro finally has one to offer.
I am a true petite (5' 1" and 103 lbs) and tried both XS and XSP. The XSP fit better - it is fitted in the body and the sleeves are just right - ends at the wrist. The XS felt "big" - loose in the body and longer in the sleeves. So, ultimately iit's your preference.
I've been getting more and more comfortable wearing fitted items - so, I went with the XSP.

Adorable blazer, very soft and comfortable. I found it to run tts. My usual size small fit perfectly. It has a nice fitted shape, not boxy. Only complaint is that the sleeves are a little long on me but otherwise perfect. I did not purchase the petite as I liked the length of the jacket. I purchased in gray and will probably also purchase the navy.
I received this jacket as a gift and was given the gift receipt in case I needed to return it. No need! This jacket is perfect for the summer and our warm fall. It fits perfectly and has some stretch to it so you don't feel confined. It has some distressing on the collar and throughout the jacket which gives it a trendy new feel and look. It is cropped which I like and looks great with maxi dresses and with white or blue denim. It runs pretty true to size maybe a little on the smaller side. Highly recommend!

Anthro has always carried the pilcro denim jacket in a variety of washes...every one of them is AMAZING. But FINALLY and just in time for summer, they came out with a WHITE DENIM JACKET! So so excited about this! The jacket runs a little small in the arms, but there is TONS of stretch (and I have bigger arms). I can usually wear a large, but I definitely needed an XL in this one. Its a bit cropped and has tons of super cool details to it...just like the regular pilcro denim jacket. I highly recommend this jacket. It will definitely be a summer staple! THANK YOU ANTHRO!

Perfect Little Jacket
The amazing thing about this jacket is that it stretches! If you have "strong arms," like me, I will recommend to get a size bigger than what you usually get and it will fit just perfect! Of course, I bought this jacket in the petite section but still, this jacket can run a little small. The material is fresh and it doesn't weight much, which sometimes most jackets do. It's just perfect for these summer days! I'm thrilled that ANTRHO carries petite sizes!
I recently purchased this item & haven't worn it yet, but so far from trying it on in the store I love it!
It certainly is not worn for warmth since it is very lightweight, but adds a lovely touch to a sleeveless top or over just about everything. I like the previous reviewers suggestion of wearing it over a white tank top & jeans!
I think it is prettier in person than in the pictures. The colors are softer & muted.
Can't wait to wear it!

This is just as it is pictured. I purchased it in store and it fits great. I wasn't sure with the one size fits all, but I'm 5'4", large busted, and typically an xl to plus size. The front of this can come together on me, no problem, and still be flowy- definitely not too small. The middle of the back is not as wide so it even gives a little shape and is very flattering and not sack-like as other kimonos I've tried.

this looks so much better in person! i've worn it several times and always get comments-it is super cool. it is thin and flowy and looks great with a white tank and jeans. i love it!
Stumbled upon this shopping today and knew it was perfect before even trying it on. Who doesn't love all things Beyond Vintage and their blouses are typically $198 plus.
This kimono is much better in person than on the model. It looks like you might have found it in a boutique in Spain. I bought the M/L for a more blousey look. I am 5'7, D36. I like that it sits more closed at the front than most kimonos. It is the perfect length. I plan to wear it on an upcoming trip to Mexico over a black tight maxi dress and a chunky turquoise necklace. The model has worn it with too many other neutrals to really make it pop......
Go find it.....I think you might just love it like me!

I love this top. Disappointing is the size. M/L is very large. I love the way it looks so decided to
order a small/medium....but it is out of stock. The sleeves are bat-wing....looks great when your arms are down, still not sure about when I have them out. Maybe that is why it feels too big. I will try it again tomorrow, but if it still feels too large it's going back. I am wishing I could get it in a smaller size. Very beautiful lace and it hangs very nicely. Quality is good.

Very pretty but….
This is a very pretty kimono top with beautiful lace but a couple of small details made me hold back from purchasing. I don't like that the seam on the sleeve is so noticeable below the elbow where it is not hidden in the embroidery. Also the sleeve opening is narrower than the sleeve so you can't push it up at all. I just felt that sleeve length would be annoying in warmer weather and I wish it had ended where the embroidery ended or was looser and more like a kimono than a blouse. That said, if it goes on sale eventually, I will probably buy it.
I had been eyeing this vest for some time before I took the plunge and decided to purchase it when I earned a discount code from Anthro for filling out a survey...why oh why is Anthro getting more and more pricey by the day?? I remember the days when a $128 dress seemed expensive, now it seems as thought half of the dresses are upwards of $250! I digress...
This vest is extremely well made and fits like a dream. It even has a lining that is lace! Nice touch doe ladies that are sticklers for the little details. I love this vest and will be wearing it with everything from dress pants to jeans to shorts, skirts and dresses. It's not overly long, but covers the bum, which is nice for us gals that appreciate a bit more modesty for an endowed backside. Highly recommend!

authoritative, dresses up or down
I bought this to wear on interviews but have found myself wearing it much more often. It instantly makes whatever is underneath it looks chic, and the fact that is covers my rear is an added plus.
