    Sturdy mug
I purchased the J mug. I didn't see it in store but online. I was pleasantly surprised how large and sturdy it is. I use it as a pencil holder on my desk at work. Lovely!

    Good, but not excellent...
I believe that we should all strive for excellence. So, hopefully the folks at Anthro are taking these reviews to heart and to the design team. I bought each of my family members a mug with their first initial (A, J, K, L, P). It was part of a gift card purchase, and a great way to try them out. I had to exchange 2 (J and P) that had off-center, crooked letters, so examine your mug carefully before purchasing. In fact, line a few of them up in-store so that you can choose the best one. I love the look and sturdiness, especially with my small children using them. Everyone loves using their own special mug. We mostly use them for hot and cold beverages; but I've also eaten cereal out of mine. Yes, the handle is very small; but it wasn't a deal-breaker for me, especially for the price I paid. I may buy more with our last initial on them. Not sure yet. I would definitely give them as gifts. It would make a great desk accessory.

    My Absolute Favourite Mug
This was the first mug I ever purchased from Anthropologie, and has a special place in my heart! It is absolutely perfect for warm, cozy evenings, wrapped in blankets--it makes the perfect home to frothy lattes and comforting chais and cocoas. The mug is very sturdy, which is wonderful for a klutz like myself, as it is pretty tough to tip over with its wide base. The monogram adds a special touch that makes it "my mug." Initially, I had to adjust to the rather small handle opening, but I have truly come to love it. I just slip my thumb through and cup the bottom in my hand, and my mug stays safe while I sip! I wash this mug in the dishwasher and microwave it regularly, and it has lasted me several years and is continuing to hold up!

    Get these while you can!!
Just purchased these for all the gals in the office, and they were a huge hit! I was a little bummed to discover I was available, but only online, b/c when I was in the store the SA actually thought that I was never made...and I have two "I" gals I would have liked to purchase these for. O'well, found cute alternative's b/c it is of course Anthro and adorable items are never in short supply here :)!! Everyone is actually running down the street to our local Anthro when they get off work tonight to grab a few for ppl on their Christmas list as well :) O and if you want one, get it now b/c these were literally flying off the shelves at my store. I noticed while I was in a LONG check-out line that I think over 80% of the ppl had at least one if not several in their arms!

    Beautiful but far too delicate
I love these mugs so much, but I hesitate to recommend them. They are lovely and hold a good sized drink. I had no problem with the size of the handles like some other reviewers. My problem is how delicate they are. I bought mugs for my mom, sister and myself. My mom broke hers accidentally, but when she got a replacement, the handle broke after going through the dishwasher a few times. We were assured that the mugs were dishwasher safe. I just broke my second mug. Both times the handles broke because something barely hit it in my sink or dish rack. The other item was not heavy and barely touched the mug. I'm really disappointed. I've bought these mugs for my sister-in-laws and was about to buy one for my mother-in-law but now I'm hesitating. I'm thinking of getting one more for me but if it breaks ago, forget it. These mugs are too beautiful to keep breaking.

This is what we use when eating rice in Japan
Some people say that this is too small - to me, there is no too small or too big as this is the standard size for rice bowls in Japan. This is North America and people may not cook rice so often at home, so it is good for some other things but I agree with some reviewers it is too small for cereal. Maybe good size for ice cream or something. In my home, the bowls are used for rice and dog food. Mine is pink one (I normally hate pink but this one is an exception!), of course for rice, hubby uses green one, my chihuahua blue one. I appreciate Anthro carries these for years. I first bought these in 2009 I believe, broke some of them and purchased some more this year. I hope Anthro will have more traditional patterns. The bowls are durable and packaging is great, always arrives in a perfect condition when purchased online.

    So happy
I'm so happy I bought these! They're the perfect size for serving rice and the kelly green pattern is even prettier in person :)

Just when I thought I was over my "buy almost every bowl and/or plate that strikes my fancy at Anthro" phase, I noticed these little bowls. I have passed by them DOZENS of times, but just the other week, I really noticed how beautiful they are. I bought a few of these, and the larger Atom Art serving bowl. They look lovely together! I have to say, I didn't realize how useful this small size bowl would be. I've used them so much already - to put chopped ingredients in while cooking, for small portions of cereal or dessert, for leftover storage, etc... I'm sure Anthro will keep coming out with variations in the coming years, and I am excited to add to my collection.

    Order these napkins!
I bought two sets of these fabulous napkins. They are wonderfully large, thick, and wash very well. From the online photos they seem thin and it looks like there is a lot of white in the patterns, not so. These are very bright and saturated colors with only a little bit of white in the background of each print. They also seem delicate, but are much more durable than they look in the photos, almost like a thin dish cloth thickness. I only use cloth napkins and I use these for everyday and have already used them while entertaining, they are the best I have purchased in years. I will buy more when they go on sale (if they don't sell out first) These are worth every penny, 32 bucks is a steal!

    No iron!
My family has moved to using cloth napkins in place of paper to reduce our waste. I've been ironing the cloth napkins. Yes, someone please hand me the vodka, I've been ironing the cloth napkins. Not so with these! I try to grab them out of the dryer as soon as they're done and lay them out flat on a table, and voila! Perfect. They're softer than the other ones I bought, bright and cheerful and also hide stains fairly well, which is nice when the vodka runs out and I resort to red wine. Anyway, I love, love, love these napkins. Absolutely fab.

these napkins deserve the high rating
I've been trying to use more cloth napkins instead of all the paper ones my family goes through. I saw these online but didn't really think much of them. I was at my local store and saw these and they really are much prettier in person. The quality is fantastic in every way--from the thickness of the material, to the patterns & colors as well as how they washed in my laundry. I love how the pattern is printed on both sides and they're a perfect size. I'm so glad I saw these in person because they're now a favorite item I use.

    Love these!
I have these in the chartreuse, dark green, and orange--for years I've had solid white plates and I thought it might be nice to add a pop of color to my dinnerware. Enter the latte bowls. I pretty much love everything about these--the color is cheerful, which I swear makes it more fun to eat out of than if it were a plain, white bowl. The shape is good for gripping, so if you have kids or a slightly clumsy hubby, this is awesome. I've primarily used these to heat up the oatmeal I make a big batch of early in the week or soup (I hate plastic containers--our dishwasher infuses them with the taste of detergent, so I don't use them much anymore). My old bowls would get hot to the touch--these get a little warm, but so far, no burned digits. Overall, I'm really happy I got these and will probably look to add another color in the future.

    Miss the mini latte bowls
I love and collect these in all the colors. They are so cheerful and fun. I wish anthro would bring back the mini latte bowls.

    Makes a great gift.
I recently bought a stack of these in various colours (they sell them individually in Canada). Love, love, love these! The sales person told me some of the colours are seasonal, so I can go by and pick up a few from time to time. They make a great gift, and the mini ones are handy for baking. My only cons are that they seem prone to chipping compared to the ones from another store. Only time will tell. In the mean time they look great! They also don't stack well, so you can't have more than four stacked, not the look I wanted, but it'll do...

    Beautiful!!!!
I love these glasses. I have 6 in red. My kids love them too. They are so different and beautiful. I read some of the reviews and was surprised to see some negative things written for this product. I have been using these for last 4 months everyday. These are my everyday water and juice glasses (we love these rather than plain boring ones). I have had no issues with the quality, color, chipping or anything. But remember, I do wash these myself and do not put them in dishwasher. Such pretties cant be trusted to dishwasher. Now I see that they have new color lavender. And I want that too. I will definitely buy atleast 2 lavender (its my fav. color) even though i have 6 reds already. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend these. These are beautiful, with no quality issues, atleast I did not have any problem with my batch. I absolutely love these beauties.

    Fragile but beautiful
I bought eight of these goblets in the lighter green. So far, I've only lost one (which was my fault, not the glass's), but I find them to be good glassware for use at dinner parties or as water glasses. I will agree with other reviewers that I would never, ever trust these to a dishwasher, and to inspect thoroughly for chips before buying. I have seen that the width of the rim is inconsistent--so try to compare these goblets in-store to find the thicker rims when purchasing. I hand wash these gently with soap and warm (but not terribly hot) water. I try not to scrub, and I don't tend to have issue keeping them clean with just a simple rinse and wiping along the rim (I mostly use them for juices, water, soda, or wine; they are a little small and unwieldy for smoothies or drinks that leave residue). I've had no peeling of color from this method so far. I treat them like wineglasses and they have held up quite well with that in mind. TL;DR: If you want them to last, you'll need to be cognizant of the fact that they need more delicate care than the average glass. Once you acknowledge that, they are a beautiful addition to your kitchen.

    Beautiful Glasses
I've been using these as my everyday water glasses for a year and a half now and I'm a little shocked by some of the bad reviews. All of mine are still perfect except for the one that broke when my cat knocked it off the coffee table onto the hardwood floor... And that wasn't really the glass' fault. I wash these in the dishwasher along with everything else and it's never caused a problem. The only thing I can think of that I'm doing differently is that I use "green" dishwasher detergent, so maybe something harsh in the regular detergents is causing problems? Anyway, these glasses are great and I'm buying more to round out my set. I'm crazy about them!

    Adore These Plates
I spotted these plates in Soho, NYC Anthroplogie and loved them, but I did not purchase them and wass sorry afterwards. I called the store the following day and asked them to hold two for me...the chameleion and the bug plates. I admired the two oddest looking ones because of the contrast between the old fashioned shape of the plates and the weird graphics.. One is on display in a built in wall cubby shelf and one is sitting atop an antique dresser. I do not use them for food and I would never think of washing then any other way than by hand. Too adorable to risk breakage or scratching.

    Fun and lovely
I put this plate and three others (Honey Bee, Black Swan, Pufferfish) from the "Natural World" set on an online registry for my upcoming nuptials. However, I neurotically started to worry that this one and the honey bee would disappear before anyone purchased them--they have been out longer than the swan & pufferfish and the wedding is still a couple months off. So I ended up just ordering those two myself and I'm so glad I did! I love the mix of vintage charm and "non-traditional" creature . The colors are vibrant and they have great attention to detail. I haven't used them yet, I'm kind of afraid to mess them up, but they actually seem pretty solid so I'm sure they will be fine. They would be great for purely decorative use, but I'm looking forward to serving dessert to guests on them!

    Alternative for kids
I bought these to try to get my 5 and 3 year olds to eat their dinners; they love lizards and the like so I bought the chameleon design for both. I was prepared for disappointment with the quality based on other reviews but these are near perfect. There is a slight misalignment at the border with the white flowers but you'd have to look closely. They are quite heavy plates which is great as they looked a little delicate on-line. I will be ordering more as they are inexpensive and would make great gifts. My girls love them.
