Returns & Exchanges

Return or exchange online orders by mail or at a store! Start your online return or exchange here. To locate your order number, simply review your order history. A $5.95 fee will be deducted from your refund for most mailed returns. If you prefer to return your item(s) at a store, you can find the nearest store location here.
In-store purchases must be returned to a store location. Locate a store near you near you to confirm business hours. Please note: Merchandise purchased at our stores cannot be returned via mail or to our warehouse.
Unlimited Furniture Delivery items in a saleable condition may be returned or exchanged within 30 days from the date of delivery. For item care and maintenance, visit our Furniture Guide or contact our furniture specialists to begin your return.

Our Return Policy

Effective 04/09/2024, all Anthropologie returns or exchanges must be accompanied by an original sales receipt or AnthroPerks lookup.

  • For merchandise returned within 30 days of the purchase date will be refunded to the original form of payment at the original selling price. If returned after 30 days, a merchandise credit will be issued at the original selling price. For online orders, return windows will be determined by the delivery date of items shipped to the recipient.
  • We'll gladly accept unworn, unwashed, and unaltered merchandise for return or exchange. All tags must be attached and items must be returned in original packaging. Defective items may still be accepted.
  • All items can be returned to stores with the exception of wedding gowns, bridal sets, and Unlimited Furniture Delivery items, which must be shipped back to our warehouse and cannot be returned to a store unless they were originally purchased at a store location.
  • Anthropologie merchandise purchased at independent department stores must be returned to the location where it was purchased.
  • Returns made without an original sales receipt qualify for an exchange at the current selling price. Item(s) exchanged must be of equal or greater value.
  • A one-time price adjustment will be granted on full-price purchases *only* if an original sales receipt is presented within 14 days of purchase.
  • Items purchased online or in-store cannot be returned to the Anthropologie Home Outlet.
  • Final Sale Policy: Please note that reusable and protective face masks, menstrual cups, personal devices from our sexual wellness assortment, made-to-order wedding gowns, wedding gowns and bridal sets ending in $.99, and sale items purchased at an additional sale-on-sale discount and marked "Final Sale" cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • We are unable to accept returns at our pop-up-shop locations.

Specialty Items

Furniture & Select Décor

  • Unlimited Furniture Delivery items in a saleable condition may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • Unlimited Furniture Delivery items must be shipped back via our delivery service and cannot be returned to a store.
  • Select upholstery is subject to a restocking fee if returned, plus applicable taxes. The fee will be deducted from the refund once the return is processed. For details about the restocking fee for a specific item, please visit the product page.
  • Please refer to the Returning Furniture section for more information.

Wedding Gowns & Bridal Sets

  • Wedding gowns and bridal sets may not be returned to stores unless originally purchased at a store location. Eligible item(s) must be shipped back to our warehouse within 30 days of the delivery date. Made-to-order gowns are final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged.
  • We'll gladly accept unworn, unwashed, and unaltered eligible merchandise for return or exchange. Merchandise must be free of stains, pet hair, floor debris, and pin marks. All original tags must be attached and items must be returned in original packaging.
  • Wedding gowns are subject to a restocking fee if returned, plus applicable taxes. The fee will be deducted from the refund once the return is processed. For details about the restocking fee for a specific item, please visit the product page.

Final Sale

  • All sale items ending in $.95 that are purchased at an additional sale-on-sale discount and marked "Final Sale" cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Purchases of reusable and protective face masks, menstrual cups, personal devices from our sexual wellness assortment, and wedding gowns and bridal sets ending in $.99 are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Curated By Anthropologie

  • Merchandise must be returned to the selling partner. Seller return policies may vary and can be found on the product page under Shipping & Returns and in your Order History after an order is placed.
  • Merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged in store or mailed back to Anthropologie.
  • A prepaid return label will be included with most purchases.

Terrain Live Plants

  • Live plants are final sale and may not be returned. If a plant arrives damaged, dead, or does not meet your expectations, we will replace it free of charge or issue a refund. Live plants are also excluded from all promotions and discounts.
