Rated 4 out of 5 by Note the batch number, and order extra I have a few words of advice to those interested in this beautiful, very well-made wallpaper -- and to those ordering wallpaper off Anthropologie in general. I ordered two rolls of this paper, but a couple months apart. That was a mistake. The two rolls appeared to be identical, of course -- same SKU, same description. But Anthropologie neglects to list the batch number in the wallpaper description. This is really important information to know ahead of time, and it's a little ridiculous that Anthropologie doesn't list it in the item description. This is also not noted in the swatch you're sent. Obviously, this is information that would change periodically -- say, over a couple of months. It may be time-consuming for Anthropologie to keep this updated, but I wish they'd look into it. I had it professionally installed, and the installer did note the differing batch numbers. I went ahead with it anyway, because I'm impatient (it took so long for the second roll, which was backordered, to arrive, and I was trying to make a deadline). Note that because of the repeat in this print, the wallpaper calculator is not a fail-safe tool. I recommend ordering this on the phone, so you can attempt to check the batch number with a live person (though when I called, the woman I talked to was unable to help me with this, saying she'd have to ask a supervisor to email their warehouse, and even then they couldn't guarantee that I'd get a response). Bottom line: Do the right calculations, and order one more roll than you think you'll need, all at once. Return the unopened roll that you don't need, if you have extra. It's gorgeous wallpaper. Rated 4 out of 5 by Gorgeous but Challenging Recommended but with caveats. First, this paper needs a special paste which FYI you can't get in the US. So we spent time talking to pros and decorators and special ordered a substitute and kept our fingers crossed. Also as someone else said, watch the batch numbers on the rolls. I ordered 3 rolls, two of which came shipped together and matched and one that came separately which did not. As you can see in my picture it's pretty obvious that the rolls don't match. There were many delays in the project & I should have returned the paper, but went ahead anyhow. It's lovely, but was a major project. My customers love the look in my shop, but not sure I would order paper from here again. October 30, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful, Tricky I applied this wallpaper to a limited wallspace above a free-standing fireplace mantel. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the paper and the overall outcome of the project. However, be advised that this is not your average sponge-the-back-slap-it-on wallpaper. The paper comes with very detailed instructions for proper application. You will need to purchase a specific kind of paste, which will stain the paper if any gets on the front. It was a tricky application, but totally worth it. I recommend this paper if you have the time and skill to apply it properly. August 8, 2010
