Rated 4 out of 5 by nice summer dress I just got this dress in mail today, so the review will be based on trying on, not on actual wearing. It is nice, effortless, breathable, comfortable dress. I like the moss color, I like the fact it can be versatile-dressed up or down. I do recommend wearing a belt-the waist line gets a little bit lost otherwise. Did I mention it is comfortable? I didn't want to take it off..it feels like a big flattering nice quality t-shirt. It holds its shape more or less when you bend or move fast-the top part doesn't flap too much which was my concern when deciding whether to purchase. The main reason I've decided to write a review is to mention sizing-I always find it helpful when reading reviews myself. So, I am almost always XS in Anthro sizes, and always regular lenght-but here I've decided to go with small petite (knowing Bordeaux runs smaller than most Anthro brands)-and am very pleased with this decision. Sorry for the quality of images, the best I could do with the light. February 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Leisure Dress! Ref: XS (runs TTS) Pros: Length - Good! At 5'7 the hem surpasses my ankles by almost a half-inch. I have to pair this maxi with heels of that height or more; no flats. Comfort - Soft, lightweight, feels great on the skin, ease of movement, feels like your gliding. Usable Pockets. Pricetag. Con: I cannot say this maxi dress has the same elegant & elongated look as in the Vietnam photos. Furthermore the profile shot isn't that flattering -in fact, I'd say it's a bit frumpy looking from the side. But comfort, usefulness & reasonable price won me over. Overall I do recommend it but not by a huge margin. February 2, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Almost This dress doesn't look like much on the hanger but I thought it was worth a try because I love a maxi and the olive green is pretty. I like how this looks like two pieces and loved how the top draped down and split in the back. The problem for me was the material. It takes a near-perfect figure to wear this jersey-like fabric. I didn't think that it looked unflattering but then I took a picture. It does tend to show any imperfection...so be careful. The length was as shown on the model....maybe a touch longer but could easily work with a small heel. And I would most definitely recommend wearing a belt because a little extra something would go a long way. I couldn't say that I wouldn't recommend, it just didn't work for me. The green has a "heathered" look and I would say that the pockets are nicely placed. In my opinion, $138 is a bit on the high side. February 3, 2014

Size Guide

How to Measure

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
