Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing, impressive staple skirt I saw this skirt online earlier and did not look at it twice, but when I went to the store and ran my fingers over it...ohhhh it just had to come with me to the fitting room! I grabbed my usual 0 and it looked great with my cami tucked in. I tried on two other skirts, the rosette and sugarplum, but the personal shopper liked this one best in terms of high quality, style, fit, and versatility. My closet looks like someone thew up skittles, so it was nice for a simple black skirt (it doesn't look like navy to me). The majority of the skirt is made out of wool, but the top part near the waist is your nylon polyester blend. My only complaint is I normally wear a 24 in jeans and felt the waist area is a bit tight. There are three tiny sews where you hook on at the waist which may be challenging to do especially in the mornings..or on bloated days. This is a lot of skirt if this isn't your thing. I layed mine flat on the floor and it was a perfect giant circle (with a tiny circle at the center where my body is magically supposed to go through). Consider grabbing a size up to compare. Try it with a tucked chambray. October 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by AMAZING Skirt! I am shocked at some of the bad reviews. I was going to order this skirt online, because the Canadian stores don't always carry everything the US stores do. But I happened upon it at a local Anthropologie. I fell in love with it on the hanger and even more so when I tried it on. I am only 5'2" and it hits right above the knee. So you can wear it to work, church, or out to dinner. The fabric is to die for, especially for this Canadian girl - making it ideal to wear in the winter. If it is long for some, I can't imagine it would be hard to get hemmed by a seamstress or even at a good dry cleaner. I just know that I'm going to get so much wear out of this skirt. I am so glad I bought it. ALSO, not sure if this is helpful, but I went a size down, not up. I like it to fit at the natural waist and with my regular size 2, it fell a little. I found the 0 perfect! Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing fabric This swing skirt is amazing. The body of the skirt is made of a wonderful felted wool, and the contrast waist band makes it something more than just a plan boring wool skirt. It is heavy enough for winter wear as long as you wear tights underbeath. The fit is true to size at the natural waist, so if you want it to sit lower, you should probably size down. October 7, 2013

Size Guide

How to Measure

Bust

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Rings

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
